| Social Impact & Special Achievements | | | The group already got higher prices for its products before its certification, so that the positve effect of being part of a Social FairTrade programme is already visible. Social projects have been set up, like building a meeting house and giving loans to members. As religion is very important for the people some ceremonies have been subsidised to limit the financial burden for the farmers. As a special achievement in environmental issues it should be noted that there are pilot projects for using manure to produce biogas to use as fuel. | ||||
