| Social Impact & Special Achievements | | | The organic and fairtrade smallholder project was established with the clear aim to give marginalized smallholder farmers in Ghana direct access to quality world markets and better prices, in an area depending mostly on palm oil. In doing so, and through Fairtrade and organnic certification, new skills have been imparted to farmers, workers in the crammer, as well as improved working conditions and better salaries. Another indirect benefit has been the establishment of farmers' associations, which are starting to be moreactive and, which hopefully will grow into a strong local farmers' association with a view to helping their community. Serendipalm has at heart to improve the livelihood of local farmers and is strongly supported in its endeavour by Dr. Bronners. | ||||
