Social Impact & Special AchievementsThe Earthoil Kenya Producer Group presently consists of 534 smallholder farmers in five main regions who produce Tea tree leaves, palmarosa, geranium and sunflower seeds, which is processed to oils by their own Earthoil Kenya Pty EPZ Ltd processing factories. Earthoil Kenya farmers are represented by the KOOFA Board, where three representatives of each farming region are actively engaged. Farmers are paid FairTrade prices (agreed between Earthoil Kenya and the Koofa Board) and there is a FairTrade Policy in place.
Use of FairTrade PremiumFairTrade Premium included in Producer Prices. From 2010 onwards, the Premium will be paid separately into a Premium Fund
