| Social Impact & Special Achievements | | | The project is important as economic - and connected to it - social developments are very much limited in this area. Due to the climatic conditions the farmers depend on a limited range of crops and diversification is not viable. This has caused the migration of too many young people to industrial centers far away. This is the point where the growers hope for a better situation through the Sproject: if the prices are fair and will pay the cost this will attract the younger generation to consider farming as a possible way of living and making a livelihood. | ||||
